Growing, Educating, and Connecting Communities
The Multnomah County Master Gardener Demonstration Garden currently has over fifteen raised beds, providing almost 2000 square feet of healthy soil for growing fruits and vegetables. Teams of volunteers plan, plant and care for those beds. We offer educational gardening classes for the public and to Master Gardeners. We also donate hundreds of fresh produce for distribution at local charities.
For more information about the 2025 production results from our garden, check out our Demonstration Garden Facts.
We make many feet of seed tape every year for our small seeds, such as lettuce, kale, chives, onions, radish and carrots. What is seed tape and how do you make it? Click here to learn.
