2026 Incredible Edible Plant Sale a Fun Success!
Thank you!

A great time was had by all at the Incredible Edible Plant Sale! Nearly 2000 people attended and supported the Multnomah County Master Gardeners Association’s mission to provide outreach and education programs which promote sustainable gardening and land stewardship practices. Thanks in part to this sale, we can continue to teach the community through operation of the Demonstration Garden, through the In-the-Garden community program, the school education program and more!

Thank you to all the Kids who Voted!

Over a hundred people visited the Kids Grow Tent to learn about worms, healthy soil, and planting flower seeds. The kids enjoyed the opportunity to voice their opinion about their favorite vegetable (that is actually a fruit, botanically speaking). Cucumber was a clear winner, with over half the votes!

Thank you to everyone who put the INCREDIBLE
in our 2026 Plant Sale!

Everyone who bought plants!

Our net sales were double from last year and will support our educational mission. Plants that were not sold were donated to our partner organizations that support food security: Oregon Food Bank, Growing Gardens, our Seed to Supper partners, Learning Gardens Lab and Black Futures Farm.

Each of the 158 volunteers who pitched tents, wrangled plants, answered questions, provided garden education activities for kids, and gave amazing presentations.

Our grower, Westwind Gardens!

Our community partners who hosted tables: Oregon Bee Atlas, Multnomah County Vector Control, Growing Gardens, VetRest and The Multnomah County Health Department (lead testing)!

Musical groups who kept our spirits lively: Sellwood Peak Marimba Band, Sunfish Duo and Friends, and Tres Equis!

Our vendors who brought us garden signs, soil, book signing, coffee, and delicious tamales: Artist Joe Wirtheim’s Victory Gardens of Tomorrow, garden writer and author Willi Galloway, Salvador Molly’s, and Where’s Coffeegirl!

Westminster Presbyterian PDX and the Irvington neighborhood!

Now it is time for happy planting, growing, and eating!
