Loree will share her experience growing these popular, water-thrifty plants in the Pacific Northwest. She’ll highlight tips on which species to select, how to plant and care for them, and what she does to protect them in the event of a winter storm.

A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Loree's greatest passion is sharing her enthusiasm for plants and garden design. She’s written for numerous magazines and served on the boards of directors of the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon and Pacific Horticulture. Loree founded the popular blog Danger Garden (thedangergarden.com), where she explores her love for agaves and all things spiky—as well as her fondness for ferns and a good patch of PNW moss. Timber Press published her first book, Fearless Gardening: Be Bold, Break the Rules, Grow What You Love. Loree practices the fine art of garden cramscaping and firmly believes that there is always room for one more plant.
